Todays special world-wide event is the opening of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. I wanted to watch a live coverage thru the net but I am just not so luck to find the right website, or is it just there's really no webpage offering free live webcast of the particular event. :(
RUSH HOUR
It is unusual for me to be in school as early as Nicole, which happened to be the early bird this morning. I don't know but maybe because we had a smooth traffic today when we took Espana. XD
That morning, I kept on reading my printed articles from the world wide web since I need to set my mind to make my Chapter 1 of my research proposal. This Chapter 1, containing Introduction, Statement of the problem, Hypothesis, Objectives, Significance of the Study, Scope and Limitations and Definition of Terms, shall be passed on our 11am class, BIO RESEARCH 1.
All of us rushed our papers that morning. Nicole, Mot and I went ahead to E-Library after the Physics class. I finished a 4-page paper (including the front page) within 1 and a half hour. :P Then I got a message from Shirley and Myleen that submission is extended upto 4pm. Woot! We could have more time to edit and fix our papers. :D
After having lunch, we took the rest of the break time to enjoy finalizing our Chapter 1. Again, in the E-Library extension. :D We had it printed on the nearby computer shop and rushed to the next subject, ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY. ^^,
I was so happy I was able to make it on time. :D But I guess, there are still parts Ma'am Dones might point out and be criticized. Anyway, all I need to have is a grade! At least I wont be having ZERO mark since I did submit the requirement of the day. *dances*
MCDO HAPPY MEAL TOYS
I got to complete the latest McDo's Happy meal collection, which is inspired with the 29th Olympiad mascot, FUWA. I learned from Wikipedia that the term Fuwa means literally "good luck dolls" and may also be called as "Friendlies". This group of creatures/mascots/dolls is composed of 5 characters made by some known Chinese artist.
My favorite one is the blue creature, fish-inspired Bei Bei. The first one bought from McDonalds Morayta, she represents Oceania and her sports Swimming could be easily recognize at first glance. The next thing I bought was Jing Jing, the Great panda-inspired weightlifter! This one reminds me of Ayi, a friend of mine who is a panda-lover. Bought Thursday noon, the fiery Huang Huang represents the Martial Arts since he is showing his offensive attack with the use of his left leg. August 8, 2008, I got to complete the whole set. I bought the green swallow-inspired Ni ni during my lunch and the Tibetan antelope-inspired Ying Ying when I had a simple meryenda time with my barkada. :D
Combine their names and we could form this sentence: BEIJIN HUANG YING NI, meaning BEIJING WELCOMES YOU. (trivia came from Wiki too! XD)

I have no idea na may new issue na naman between our group and the so-called UNO group. All i know is that nag-usap sina Angel and Glaiza (?) thru text message and hindi ko na matandaan what was their exact conversation, basta about Melissa yun na na-include si Ayi in some aspect. (Yeah, I need to name individuals now.)
Tuesday morning (Aug.5), I was rushing to get into our room before my professor arrives. LOL As usual, I am late. HAHA! So, rush din ako to complete the assignment which is to be submitted that morning. Luckily, (YEAH LUCKILY!) Prof. Moran was absent! Pero we still need to pass the papers, kasi may substitute teacher. But then again, everyone rejoiced after learning na mukhang wala rin sa mood magturo yung sub.prof. HAHA! She dismissed us after 15 mins., I guess. XD
Then pumunta ako sa table nila Dette and Ayvee. The rest of the gang joined in. Akala ko, we were just waiting na may isang mag-aya nang lumabas to eat our early lunch, pero hindi eh...yun pala may agenda! Nalaman ko lang when Ayvee invited Glaiza and company na nasa kabilang table na lumipat na sa table namin so we can start everything na. Medyo nagulat ako that time pero hindi halata. :P
I cant remember anymore who started it all. Basta almost all of us did speak that time EXCEPT NICOLE, REGINE, JEM/BARNEY AND MOT-MOT! HAHAHA! Yeah, special mention sila. Si Nicole, naki-iyak lang. Sina Barney and Mot, puro dinadaan sa jokes and tawa. ANO BAAAA~ HAHAHA!
Eion~ Nailabas na siguro almost all of the things we wanted to tell, and I think OK na kami lahat since parang walang nangyari when we met sa next subject. :) AYOS AYOS! ALA NA PROBLEMA....!
Oh my~ Hindi talaga ako nilubayan ng computer works. Sa bahay, laptop na ang best friend ko, even in work/OJT desktop pa rin ang kaharap ko! Well, I enjoyed the first few hours working on some stuffs thru the World Wide Web while chatting and listening to music, pero nabored talaga ko so hinayaan ko na si Barney/Jem after lunch. I helped her paminsan-minsan din naman., but wala na talaga ko sa mood. Sumisigla lang ako pag may interesting facts/trivias na na-se-share si Barney. Hee!

Aryt! After mag-out sa NRED ng past 4pm, we went ahead to WRC Mini Zoo to see BBGs! Hee! Ayun, hindi naman sila sumama when we invited them to join us in watching movie. Ala pa kaming chosen film kaya "bahala na mamya" ang dating namin ni Barney. :D It was my first time to watch a movie together with Barney. OK naman sya SO FAR. HAHAHA! Oh well, mas nagugulat ako sa tili nya kesa dun sa napanod naming scenes gumulat sa kanya. LOL
Journey to the Center of the Earth is a good film. I was amazed on their discoveries and some of the special effects. Ang cute pa nung batang lalaki. Hee! (Hala! PedO? WAHAHAHA) Ayos din sa application ng Physics and Chemistry! Hehe! What if meron nga talaga IRL yung mga unidentified species na pinakita sa movie? HAHA! Alangyang piranha-like-fishes na yun! Nakakagulat. HAHA! Anyway, I am not a fan of Brendan Fraser pero I find him handsome on some scenes pero most of the time, dedma lang. :P Johnny Depp pa rin! FUFUFU!

The BS Biology General Assembly was held yesterday, July 29 (Tues) from 1pm-6pm. :) It somehow looked like a party for seniors only. LOL Kasi kami yata pinakanag-enjoy. Well, most of the officers were from our class so bawas na kami sa lagay na yun pero naman! ang ingay pa rin! Grabe~ I enjoy being with my classmates talaga esp. when it comes to laugh trip. ANSAYA! WOOT! Kaya labs ko yang mga yan eh. XD
It's nice to know na there are already 2 sections ng Biology freshies. Nakailang batch na kasi na 1 section lang ang nabubuo. I think nagparticipate naman ang mga freshies, sophies and juniors though may ilan lang talaga na parang hindi interesado. HAHA! Magugulo din pala mga 3rd year, lalo na si Jazz! Nashock na lang ako sa mga pinag-gagawa nya. XDD
Anywhooooo, congrats to the BioSoc officers for having a successful GA this year! Sana maging OK lahat ng planned activities ng org! woot! :)
As much as I want to narrate what I had experience today in Parks and Wildlife Bureau, I'm afraid I can't since there are a lot of things running through my mind right now and I guess it is more important than my journey in PAWB. So let us start on our group's conversation during our lunch this noon. You could guess who were with me at that time. (Well, it is obvious anyway. XD) Someone opened up this 'conflict' thingy that is currently happening in Bio541 class, OUR BELOVED CLASS! Oh myyyy~! I can't remember the all the details of our discussion! *gets shot* I’m such a dumbass! LOL But there's this thing that I exceptionally wouldn't forget. One of us shared that a girl from our class talked to her about some serious matters, which even made this girl cry. What made you think about this? You might be thinking… “Ah, arte lang yan..” But I guess, this particular girl wouldn't cry for something she does not treasure… for something she does not love… for something she does not have concern for. Please guys, think of it. Don't you love our class? We've been together for almost 4 years! And now that we are in the last undergrad level, are we just going to put everything into trash? *OMGWTFBBQ! naiiyak na ko...*
I respect every student in the class. Even those who aren't excelling (just like me) and those who you could label as substandard in a class (sorry for going this far… labelling people... I just don’t know how to explain this in any other way.) , it might not look like but I do respect them all.
Knowing that there is already an Editor-in-Chief for the Official Newsletter of Biology Society, which is BioPhage, I felt happy that a senior was appointed on that position. I was really worried back then that the BioSoc officers might give the position to a junior student. I think everyone in the class that are concerned won’t agree with it, ne?
So, who is this E-i-C? Since I won’t be mentioning names, MANIGAS KA KUNG HINDI MO ALAM! HAHAH! I know she will be able to read this since she is one of my best buddies here in the World Wide Web together with my IRL best friend, some cosplayer friends and my adorable former classmate, Albert! J (I am quoting this once again, “Forgive me if I'll try not to mention names…” of my friends… HINDI KO SYA FRIEND OKAY? WAHAHAHAH MORTAL ENEMY KASI KAMI! ALA PA RIN YUNG GIFT KOOOOO… AI, NAMIN PALA NI MELISSA! HEHE!) Aryt! Serious na uli~ :D
This great/huge/large-sized bonsai… este… officer (itago na lang natin sa pangalang Alyssa) informed me about this BioPhage’ newly assigned E-i-C. She told me a brief story on how they decided on it. It was OK to me, since I will just become a member (if ever). I shared it to those who would also want to join the BioPhage, and then comments were voiced out. It is fine. Everybody could express what is in their minds. But after hearing those final words that came out from their mouth, it seems that they are already judging a person. Oh yeah, she’s a wonderful artist/illustrator/or any word you call it, that could take the position as Graphic Artist. But does it mean she doesn’t have the ‘thing’ to be an E-i-C? Everyone has his/her own skills and/or potential abilities. Why did I use the word ‘potential’? “Potential is a latent excellence or ability that may or may not be developed”, quoted from Dictionary. This just means that there are certain abilities that aren’t emerging as of now, but once it has been triggered, who knows? It might become/produce successful outcomes, right? I actually don’t know yet if she really is good to be an E-i-C, but I believe in her and she has my support since forever. ^_^
So, have you read some written works of this mysterious E-i-C? Have you ever heard her backgrounds/experience in school paper works? Well if not yet, I am asking that you should consider these little things first before judging someone else. I know I’m not in the right position to talk, but hey this is just my point of view and this is my journal so I can write everything I want to. Hee! :D
I’m sorry if I am against with you guys this time. I am only disagreeing about your attitudes right now, but inside me, you all are still my friends, I just don’t know if you will still act the same way after reading this.
I hope everything will be alright soon. We just need to talk about this. Though I am not as vocal as those students who stand-out in class, I am just a mediocre that rides on every joke thrown in the class but I could try to speak out even for a while for this matter.

I was suprised seeing only 15 items. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, "take your time, onti lang yan!" Pero putek! Multiple Choice nga, pero need to support your answers pa din and I tell you, hindi biro mga solutions na hinihingi! Ayun~ Time consuming! Magulat-gulat na lang ako... "Pass you papers na" Naku naman! Sana man lang nag-warning ka (talking to the prof kunwari LOL) like "class, you only have 15 mins to finish the test" since lahat kami hindi nakakaisip sumilip sa time dahil busy taking the exam. Ack! So ayun, I didn't get to answer nos. 14 & 15. Eh jackpot, concurrent forces yata yung 2 items. Dami ng points sa solution nun for sure! And I wont get those points for sure DIN!

Ka-birthday nya si mama. July 16! :) Patawa mga gifts naming 4! Pero before anything else, I gave her first an A4 print of her photo and the shot is credited to Ayvee! Wee~! Buti nlng may natira pang ink dito sa bahay. XD
Then she opened Ayvee's gift, Mechanical Pencil and a unique style of eraser! Ayos! Pambatang-pambata! HAHAHA! Well, patikim pa lang yun!
Nicole's gift? A Practice Writing Book for Ages 3+!!! HAHAHA! Everyone laughed so hard when we saw it. Si Kim namumula na as in! HAHAHA! Yes, niloloko kasi sya na parang hindi nag-practice nung nursery/kinder years nya on how to write legibly kaya ayan napagtripan. HAHAH!
My gift? Well, pag-open ni Kim, malakas na tawa agad ni Ayi ang una kong narinig. ROFLMAO. Maliit na part pa lang ang natanggal na wrapper pero nung nakita nila yung part ng laman, natawa na sila agad. Know why? It is actually a Lettering Guide!!! HAHAHAH! Para maintindihan yung lettering ni Kim, para hindi malait yung sulat nya at para hindi na sya mahirapan. LOL
THE BEST GIFT yung kay Dette! Biruin mo nakabalot pa sa Manila Paper! NYAHAHAH! Pabigla ang pagopen/pagwarak ni Kim sa gift wrapper pero nagsawa sya since sobra-sobra sa pagkakabalot. As in! So dapat hindi ako mag-expect ng mataas na score. Pero sana man lang naka-abot ako sa Passing Score which is 18. Pero hindi eh, 12 lang ako. Huhuhu! Gaya ng sabi ni Kim, bawi na lang sa Lecture Exam! I was supposed to go to Parks and Wildlife Bureau this morning to report for my Internship subject. But the bad weather didn't refrain from showering us enormous amount of rainwaters. My mom then decided for me not to go and just stay in the house.

I greeted her "Happy Birthday" and she smiled. "How old are you now? 49?" I asked. "No, I'm still 46!", she angrily answered.
Today's my mom's birthday! Yes, I gave her a bouquet of dozen red flowers last night. :) It looks so beautiful and elegant. I love it and I know my mom also liked it. Of course, the money is courtesy of my dad. Hee! :D
"Are you going to watch a movie?" "Yes." "Can I join you?" "You can wait for Kat and watch with her." O_O
So, my mom decided to go to the cinema this afternoon together with 2 of her friends. They ate at Chef Donatello right after the movie. I went to the mall too! I was with our helper, Ate Aileen. I need her to accompany me since I am having a headache. At least, there's someone I can lean on once I feel I'll pass out. And I'm glad it didn't happen. :) We enjoyed hopping from one store to another. I shopped for some outfits. I already brought my target shirt in Soda. woot! I also have a new pair of jeans! ^__^ And yes, some stuffs from National Bookstore! I love buying things from there,really! :) After about 2 hours of roaming around the mall, I texted my mom to meet us in Bread Talk. I insisted for that place since I'll be buying her birthday cake there. Hee! :D

My name was then included to the list of students who will be going to DOST. Ack! That institution is really far away from us. Luckily, Tina and I agreed to change locations. Thus, I will be "working" during my free days in Parks and Wildlife Bureau in QC. What made me even happier is that it was announced this morning that Ayvee, Dette and Nicole will surely be with me in PAWB!!! HAHA! We're such lucky earthlings!
I have read
's latest journal about a not-so-nice comment to his L cosplay from some person here on dA. It actually reminded me of the same thing which happened to me last month. Someone didn't like my Ashiya Mizuki cosplay and he gave out his criticism and/or observation on a specific photo I have uploaded in my gallery. See the screenshot here.
After reading such comment, my spirited self suddenly turned into a gloomy one. Maybe I am just not used to receiving comments like that. I actually have thought of deleting that specific deviation from my gallery and I even hated my Mizuki cosplay that time.
But then, I asked my self why should I take those words seriously? There are just some persons/things/experiences that exist in this world to let you know and notice the things you aren't able to pay attention. Yeah, I should not blame myself not looking exactly like Maki Horikita and I must be willingly accept that fact. Not because you kept on receiving good compliments means you are really doing well, right? There are still some spots wherein you weren't able to fill up, making some demands unreachable.
In relation to cosplay, I believe everyone can do it. It is just a hobby anyway. A friend of mine doesn't want to cosplay with me even though I know and she knows in herself that she would like to try cosplay even once in her life. She keeps on telling me that she might become only a nuisance or the character won't look good on her or she might just ruin the group if she'll be joining. Hearing all of her reasons didn't make me stop convincing her to cosplay. Well I hope someday, she could join me in a cosplay group.
I still have some ideas in my mind about this one but my body wants some rest now. So maybe I could express them some other time. Hee.
Here's how:
1) Cut 'e' from newspapers. But I decided to print size 8 e's this morning
2) Set the slide on the 6x6 glass with prepared guide drawn on a bond paper adhered on it.
3)Drop a Histomount chemical (that looks and smells like rugby) on the center of the slide.
4) Put the letter 'e' on it and wait for some minutes to make sure it's already fixed and/or glued on the slide.
5) Put enough amount of Histomount on the surface of the slide which will then be covered by the cover slip.
It seems so simple and very easy but all of us are having the same problem whenever doing this because there should be no bubbles appearing around the specimen (for this work, letter 'e'. But after pressing the coverslip to allow the spread of Histomount, I can always see some tiny bubbles forming. I have already used more or less 10 glass slides and I'm not yet done making a perfect one. :( I stopped working on it this afternoon due to headache (maybe because of that chemical) so I had a nap and got surprised seeing the time when I woke up. It's already 7:30 in the evening! Hee. XD
Almost of the members are my friends. I invited Lery to be our Suiseiseki since she resembles the character sometimes. Hehe! Naisip ko din bagay kay Redone maging Souseiseki since boyish ang look nya by the time I'm forming this group. I don't know paano napunta kay Marion si Hina Ichigo, maybe I informed her about the group then she joined as Hina or I first invited her too. Hee! Mem-gap! LOL Supposedly, si Dejan dapat ang Suigintou namin pero dahil may conflict sa sched nya, pinahiram na lang nya ang costume nya sa friend/classmate ni Marion na si Joyce. :) Si Machi, inaya ko dun sumali and I gave her Kanaria. Luckily, may costume na si Ate Aya nun so hiniram na lang nya. Pinilit ko si Kat sumali and si Bara Suishou na lang ang available character so tinanggap na nya.
In fact, December 2006 ko pinilit na mabuo/i-launch ang RM group. Sobrang daming hindrances ang nag-arise kaya Toycon (JUne 2007) na namin nagawang icosplay ang plan. Unfortunately,. hindi nakuha ni Kat ang costume nya so we ended up being 6 dolls on the group.
Wow! Ansaya isipin na naka-form ako ng isang cosplay group before. (Wala pa uli akong nabubuo after nito pero I'm planning na for the next one.) Well, gaya nga ng sabi ni Ate Aya about sa MKR group nila, mahirap nang i-gather uli ang mga members lalo na kung marami ng commitments ang iba. Masaya sanang magkasama-sama uli kami after a long while. Chance na rin sana ang shoot to have properly shots of our costume. Hehe! :)
Lesson: Don't force something to happen as you wish. A time for it will come eventually. You just need to learn how to wait.
It is funny that when she played it, instead of Zack (of course he is the leading character of the game Crisis Core, where this song was used as the ending theme), it was Cloud's face who pops out of my mind after hearing first few lines/lyrics of the song. LOL And because of that I got to shout a wrong title... "Advent Children!" ROFLMAO!!! As soon as I say this two words, Lotus immediately corrected me and whispered the right words... "Crisis Core" HAHAHA! OMGWTFBBQ! It's alright, laugh at me coz it really is ridiculous. XDD After some time, I got to think about why did I utter AC and not CC? Well, I have deduced a very simple conclusion (korni HAHA). And maybe you would also get the same reason if you will just analyze my story. HEHE!
P.S. "Why" is still my LSS for about 2 days... and I think, I would still have it on my mind til next week! LOL
They should have told me that IT ISN'T REALLY MINE. Maybe with that fact, I could have not drop a tear for that stuff.
Nung morning before kami umalis pauwing Manila, dinalaw namin ang kaptid ng lolo ko, si lolo Ying. Hindi na sya nakakatayo. Nakahiga na lang daw palagi. Hindi na rin masyadong naiintindihan ang mga sinasabi dahil sa mahina ang boses at parang kinakain ang mga salitang binibigkas nya. Ngunit, nakaka-kain pa naman daw sya ng maayos.
Dumating kami sa bahay nila at nakitang nakahiga sa kanyang kama, gaya ng balita. Wala naman daw syang sakit nung tinanong ko ang mama ko, dahil sa katandaan lang kaya siya nagkaganun.
Napaiyak sya nung nakita nya kami. Pinakilala kami isa-isa, kaming 3 magkakapatid at 2 kong pinsan. Habang nag-uusap ang anak nya at si mama, napansin kong patuloy ang pagtulo ng luha nya. Marami siguro syang iniisip. Marami siguro syang ni-re-recall. Mga panahong malakas pa sya at nakakadalaw pa sya sa bahay ng lola ko. Mga panahong kausap nya ang mga kapatid nya habang nagre-relax sa veranda. Mga panahong marami pa syang nagagawa. Mga bagay na hindi nya na kayang magawa ngayon.
Ang mga yan ay mga palagay ko lamang. Maaring tama ang ilan, maaring hindi rin. Wala akong ibang tanong talaga nung oras na yun kundi "Ano kaya ang iniisip nya?". Natanong ko din sa sarili ko, "Handa na kaya syang sumakabilang-buhay?" Ayaw man ng mga mahal nya sa buhay ngunti darating ang araw na magpapaalam na sya. Una sa lahat, mahaba na rin ang panahon na itinagal nya sa mundong ito. (79 years to be exact).
Hindi ko man ako ganun kalapit sa puso nya, hindi ko napigilang umiyak nung nagtagal. Natigil na lang ako nung nalibang ako sa ibang bagay.
Makikita pa kaya namin sya pagbalik namin dun sa July (kung matuloy man)? Anyway, sana maging maligaya sya sa mga natitirang araw nya. Kahit hindi pa alam kung kailan ang takdang araw, sana makita nya muna lahat ng taong malapit sa kanya.

I have seen the animation movie, FFVII:Last Order before. I think was in 1st year college that time. Bitin yung movie as in. Yun pala, parang part lang sya ng CC game. Actually you can see there the part before the ending. (Galing! I can still remember! :w00t:)
And who would have not been amazed in the CG of the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children? I am one of the fans who will keep on watching and loving it UNTIL FOREVER. :heart:
The only thing is I haven't finished the PC game Final Fantasy VII. I was still in Highschool by that time. I am gamer who plays-break/hiatus-plays again-break/hiatus-and so on... LOL

Woke up at around 7am this morning and prepared myself to leave after an hour. We also waited for our driver who will ASSIST ME. Yes, I'll drive again after weeks of not doing so. I was a bit surprised and somehow excited when my mom informed me to do the driving from our house to the Our Lady of Grace Parish in 11th ave. Caloocan City.
It is actually my FIRST TIME to drive my wheels outside our subdivision. :D It went well so far. However, I admit I still lack on concentrating while on the road, and I still need supervision whenever I'm on a narrow road. *reminds me of continuous steps on the break* Hee. XD
I want to practice driving my way to school next time, especially during nighttime. I wish I could get better before the month ends.
